Our analytics features help you understand how your URL redirects are being used by your audience. This page will give you an overview of the common features you'll find on all analytics views including, Redirects, Source hostnames, Target hostnames, Visitor Locations, Referrals and Technology (OS/Browser).
If you see the screen shown below you can upgrade at any time by choosing a plan that includes analytics, or by contacting our team.
The Chart
The chart shows the top 5 results from the data table for each view. When you scroll over the graph, you will be able to see the daily total, along with the total requests for all other redirects on that specific day. When you hover on this information, the specific redirect group in question will be highlighted below in the data table in fuchsia.
The Data Table
The data table includes the ability to select a date range for the report, pagination controls, sort order control along with detailed information about the number of redirects being processed per protocol (HTTP vs HTTPS) and by status code (301, 302 and 404). Further detail of this data will be discussed on each of the individual view help pages.
Controlling sort order
You can control the sort order at the top right of the data table. You may choose to sort by either the most or least requested results.
Paging through results
Each page will show 25 results by default, but you may choose to show 50 or 100 rows if you wish. You can navigate through the results pages using the controls shown.
Selectable Date Range
You can select the date range by clicking any part of the dates shown on the data table. The default for all reports is the last 30 days. You can select other ranges if you wish by clicking the preset date ranges (7, 30, 90, this/last month) or selecting custom dates from the calendar. Data can be viewed per day or per month. Viewing results by day is limited to showing the previous 90 days of history from todays date. If you select dates more than 90 days in the past the report will switch to month view. If you choose to select a large date range, this will take longer to load given the amount of data being presented.
The Ellipsis Menu
There is an ellipsis menu for applicable data rows that will give you easy access to features and functions related to the specific row of data. Each analytics report may have different actions available.
The Summary Row
There is always a summary row that will be presented which will summarize the total requests, total per protocol (HTTP and HTTPS) and total per status code (301, 302, and 404). These will also be broken down into percentages of the totals. As you drill down in applicable views, you can see the total requests percentages per group.
