When you create a new redirect and add the source(s) and target URL, each redirect will then have an option to configure advanced settings.
Redirect Type - Choose between Permanent (HTTP 301) or Temporary (HTTP 302) redirects. We recommend permanent redirects (301) in most cases as it is the best for SEO because it transfers SEO juice from the source to the target URL.
Path Forwarding - Sometimes referred to as a wildcard redirect, this will redirect all paths to the same paths at the destination (target URL). This will only work successfully when the path structure of the source and target domains exactly matches.
Parameter Forwarding - This forwards any request query parameters in the source URL to the destination. This allows for the use of UTM tags or other analytics tags.

After setting up your redirect you'll need to configure the DNS record for the domain you want to redirect. Each provider is different, but we've compiled a list of links for various providers to show you how to do it.
